Description

Grant by Adam Bucuinte to John son of Walram, of the land that Walram held in Eggeswere, between land belonging to St. Albans abbey and the highway to Watford, beyond Grimesdich; land between Grimesdich and the land that Oliver held of him, on the road to Watford; and all the land in front of the land of the canons of St. Bartholomew toward the south, from the way to Watford to Adam's common of pasture; paying therefor 2s. 6d. yearly. Also release by the same to the same of three virgates of land which he claimed against Andrew Blund, and Lucy his wife, in the King's Court at Westminister, and whereupon the said Andrew and Lucy called John to warranty. Witnesses:- Robert de Stanmere, Gilbert de Hendon, and others (named). (Middx. ).
