Description

Grant by David, son of Ralph the Vintner, to the prior and canons of Holy Trinity, London, for 41s. 4d., of the land called 'Hungerscroft,' in Toteham, paying therefor 10d. yearly. Witnesses:- Gilbert Cullinge, William and Bartholomew, sons of Edric de Allegate, John de Lesnes, and others (named). Endorsed: "Ista carta non est bona, quia habemus aliam de eadem terra per quam non tenemur reddere annuatim nisi duos denarios. " (Middx. ).
