Undertaking by Richard, the prior, and the convent of Holy Trinity, London, that they will not compel Sir William de Say or his heirs to warrant to them the lands and tenements which they hold of his fee in Edelmeton on account of a certain confirmation he has made to them, unless he lays claim to them or makes undue exactions from them for the same. Witnesses: Sir Gilbert de Say, Sir John de Berners, John de Gateden, William de Mares, steward, Alan de Waledon, William de Forda. Middx. A. D. 1223-1252
