Description

Demise by William, son of Eadmund de Hothot, to Geoffrey de le Chapele, of Tichemersh, and Joan his wife, of all his land in Woldweston and Brynton for 10 years from Michaelmas next at a yearly rent of 22., at the end of which term they will pay 100s. to William, his heirs or assigns. Other covenants specified. The grantor acknowledges he has received the farm for the first five of the above 10 years. Witnesses:- Sir Robert de Hothot, knight, and others (named): [Hunt.]. Woldweston, Friday before the Annunciation, 2 Edward III.
