Surrender by Alice, late wife of Henry de Erdelee, to John Dodebroke, of Borham, of a messuage and 26 acres of land in Borham, for ejection from the wardship of which she had been impleaded by Dodebroke, before Geoffrey de Scrope and his companions, the wardship belonging to him by reason of the minority of John, son and heir of Henryde Erdelee, the premises being held by knight's service: she havingacknowledged before the Justices at Northampton, at Easter, 2 Edw. III., that the wardship thereof belonged to Dodebroke till the heir was of age. Witnesses:- Edmund de Baduwe, Roger de Cliftone, Hamo Peverel, and others (named). Essex.
