Indenture whereby Thomas Sotehill appoints Oswold Grice, his kinsman, to the office of surveyor and bailiff of all his land, etc, in Middle East, and West Haddilsay for 24 years from the present date, he paying therefor 56/. yearly, and receiving 13s. 4d. yearly as his fee, and having the right before all others (except Lord Darcy) to farm any lands that may fall in to the said Thomas, paying therefor the same price as any other man would. 23 Jan, 13 Hen.
