Description

Indenture containing the award of the archbishop of Canterbury and the bishop of Norwich, acting on the advice of Sir John Fortescu, Chief Justice of the King's Bench, and William Yelverton, a Justice of the same Bench, in a dispute between William, Duke of Suffolk, and Sir John Fastolf, knt., as to the title to Dedham manor, to the effect that Fastolf by law and conscience hath right and title to the possession of the manor, which he shall enter accordingly, and the Duke depart thereform. Essex. 16 February, 28 Hen. VI
