Description

Grant by Joan, relict of Nicholas Croydon, of Reading, to John Caylok and William Hicckes, of all her lands and tenements in 'le Wodestret' of Reading, between the grange Roger Hay holds of the abbey, and the tenement John Thedrych inhabited, which Richard Stonyford her father had by gift of John Foughlere, of Reading, and which she and John Caylok had by grant from her father. E 40/553. Witnesses:- John Whyte, mayor of Reading, John Kent, Richard Glvoere, Roger Hay, Richard Stour, bailiffs of the borough of Reading. Berks. Saturday next before St. Barnabas the Apostle, 5 Henry IV.
