Description

Deed of release by William de Captoft, of Lepington, to Sir John de Melsa, of a place in the middle of the pasture of Lepington, called 'le Wode,' extending from Sir John's manor to Wodekeldsik, and fro Legenink to the north angle of the said manor, which is called 'le Park,' sving what is herein excepted; and all lopping of twigs of thorn or other trees growing i all the pasture called 'le Wode,' as well without as within the enclosure. Witnesses:- Sir Richard Trussebut, Sir Robert de Fritheby, Richard de Bernevile, of Legening, and others (named) York.
