Description

Grant by Ralph, son of John Norman, of Chester, to Robert, son of Henry le Mercer and Felicia his wife, of a "placea" of land in Newcastle, with remiander to the nearest heirs "ex parte patris et matris dicte Felicfe genitis," paying 4s. yearly at Chester at Robert's expense, who has given five marcs of silver for this grant. Witnesses:-Ralph de Thiknesse, then mayor of Newcastle, Thomas Forestar, Ralph Baker, then bailiffs, Adam son of Juliana, William de Stobleye, and others (named). Staff.
