Grant by Hugh, son of Walter de Middelwich, to Roger his son, of all the moiety of the whole moiety (totam medietatem totium medietatis) of land called 'Stamfurlong' (? in Middelwich), which John Kiel (?) formerly held of him, with reversion to his younger brother Henry if he should kie without heirs. Witnesses:- Sir W. de Venables, Ralph de Vernun, Richard de Soubache, knights, William de Sporeston, then sheriff of Cheshire, Alexander de Banvile, Roger de Faunscroft, Richard lord of Croxton, and others (named) Cheshire.
