Grant by William Trussel, knight, of Cublesdon, to Edward King of England and France, of his lands and tenements of "Fobye Johan, Hirecmere and Wicchemere," assarted from the soil of the forest of Windsor, and his possessions in Old WIndsor, New Windsor, Wynkefeld, and Ascot, which are parcel of the castle and manor of Windsor, and which Oliver de Burdeux held by grant from Edward, father of the present King; also of the lands which the said Oliver had in Eton by Windsor, and which William de Stratton, knight, holds for the term of Oliver's life, after whose death they ought to remain to Trussel, but such remainder he transfers tot he King. This is in exchange for the manor of Eton Hastyngs, co. Berks, and the advowson of the church of the same manor, which the King has granted Trussel by his charter. Witnesses:- William bishop of Winchester, John bishop fo Rochester, Richard, Earl of Arundel, and Roger de Mortimer, Earl of March, Geoffrey de Say, John de Gray, of Retherfeld, Richard la Vache, and John Brocas.
