Confirmation by Ralph de Cheyndedut to Richard, the prior, and the canons of Holy Trinity, London, of the above grant, the property being described as "the tenement with houses and appurtenances which Roger de Walekote, and Alice his wife, held in Langley;" the rent of 8s. being reserved, and the prior and convent giving 20 marks of silver for this confirmation. Witnesses:- Sir Geoffrey de Arenden, Alexander de Chesney, Geoffrey de Childewik, Hugh Pirun, knights, Nicholas de Bulstrode, Ralph le Tailur, and others (named). Buckinghamshire. A. D. 1223-1252
