Description

Grant by Roger de Walecote, an dAlice his wife, daughter of William Bataile, to Richard, the prior, an dthe canons of Holy Trinity, London, of all land with appurtenances which they held in Langeley of the fee of Sir Ralph de Cheyndedut, paying 8s. yearly to the lord of the soil (domino fundi). Witnesses:- Reiner de Bungeye, then Mayor of London, John de Gisortz, Michael Tovy, then sheriffs of London, John de Chordres, sheriff of Middlesex, William de Paris, Roger Harding, Roger de Blakevile, Ralph le Tailur, and others (named). Buckinghamshire. 23 or 25 Hen. III
