Confirmation by H(ugh), abbot of Ramsey, of the grant by Geoffrey the Cook (Coci), brother of Gervase de Hokes, of Cranfeld, to Thomas the Mason (Cementar'), of Wuburn, of the tenement in which Gervase de Hokes died seised in demesne as of fee to be held of the abbot and his successors on payment of half a marc of silver yearly at the same three terms as the other tenants of the abbey in Cranfeld. Witnesses:- Geoffrey Rodland, William de Wassingele, Ralph the Marshal (Mariscallo), of Cranfeld, and others (named). Bedf. A. D. 1216-1231
