Proclamation by Pottinger to inhabitants of Ting-hai. Peace has been concluded but British forces will continue to occupy Ting-hai until all indemnity has been paid. Meanwhile, Chinese Magistrate will be stationed in neighbouring island of Ta-hsieh, to whom inhabitants of Ting-hai may take their law suits.
