Description

Chu-erh-hang-a to Superintendents of Trade from Britain, U.S.A. and Holland. Transmits joint edict by Lin Tse-hsü, Teng T'ing-cheng and I-liang granting their request to leave for home, adding that they must do so for good. Anyone bringing opium in the future will be liable to the death penalty.
