Chu-erh-hang-a to C. Elliot. Transmits Lin Tse-hsü's edict: accepts Elliot's figure of 20,283 chests of opium in stock and agrees to receive them in instalments as they come in. Will go with Viceroy [Teng T'ing-cheng] to Hu-men to supervise delivery of opium.
