- und his father for a messuage, two carucates, and a virgate in Kingston Deverill, undertakes to pay 8s. yearly for the virgate and 31s. yearly for the tenement in Kingston Deverill which Gismund de Deverel held of the Bishop and chapter of Le Mans (Symonensi), saving suit at 'la Lazeday' twice a year in the bishop's court of Kingston Deverill: [Wilts.]^^
