Description

Indenture whereby Henry de Kynges[to]ne Deverel, having refused to pay the homage, heriot, relief, and suit of court every three weeks with duty as .......... of sheep at boon-days for ploughing called 'beynhurth', etc., claimed on the death of Walter Wym

und his father for a messuage, two carucates, and a virgate in Kingston Deverill, undertakes to pay 8s. yearly for the virgate and 31s. yearly for the tenement in Kingston Deverill which Gismund de Deverel held of the Bishop and chapter of Le Mans (Symonensi), saving suit at 'la Lazeday' twice a year in the bishop's court of Kingston Deverill: [Wilts.]^^
