Indenture whereby Sir Hugh le Despenser acquits Sir William del Idle Bone against Stephen de Brightmerestone of the lands, etc., in debate between them, and undertakes to give possession of the lands which Stephen had of William's inheritance, In conside

ration, William willl convey to Hugh the manor of Midelton, and, together with Joan his wife, their lands there and in [? Puthall], (Pottenhale), so that if William die without heirs, the premises shall remain to Hugh after the deaths of William and Joan. Dated at Vastern: [Wilts]^^French
