Ross and Sabine, etc. correspondence on polar exploration

Note
Previously in "Fitzroy Papers" original numbered Series 1-188 as No 184. The contents list (amended 1991) was written in the 1970's and the references written on the letters in biro during the same period. The 1875 letter concerns a search for Ross to Sabine letters, 1839-1843, in response to which this package was submitted. A file of Ross-Sabine letters, 1833-1846, is a BJ 3/16. No 10 in BJ 2/13 concerns Sabine's invitation to Ross to set up his pendulum experiment at Woolwich, and Sabine's notes of the same are now at BJ 2/14
