PITT v EXECUTORS OF EARL OF LONDONDERRY: Exhibits.

  • 1. 1726. A small leather purse containing many small notes by Thomas Pitt the younger, Earl of Londonderry, of affairs to be settled before his departure to the Leeward Islands as Governor.
  • 2. 1713-1722. Letters to Lord Londonderry as MP for Wilton, Wiltshire from constiutents about local politics and elections to Parliament.
  • 3. 1713-1722. Letters and minor accounts from Thomas Green, of clothing made on Lord Londonderry's account; with sample swatches of cloth.
  • 4. 1716-1724. Letters to Lord Londonderry from Alderman Elias Chalk in Wilton.
  • 5. 1712-1720. Letters to Lord Londonderry from Thomas Dennett about affairs in Wilton.
  • 6. 1718-1724. Letters to Lord Londonderry fromJohn Phillips about affairs in his [Old] Sarum estate.
  • 7. 1716-1724. Accounts from the Woodyates estate, Wiltshire.
  • 8. 1716-1724. Tradesmen's bills and receipts.
  • 9. 1720. Surveys of various estates in Devon and Wiltshire.
  • 10. 1727 December 13-15. Inventory of goods at Chevening, Kent.
  • 11. 1714. Probate of the will of Thomas [Belasyse], Lord Fauconberg
  • 12. 1726. Proposals for colonising Madagascar 'in order to make an advantageous settlement'.
