PITT v EXECUTORS OF EARL OF LONDONDERRY: Exhibits

  • 1. 1720-1723. Letters about Thomas Pitt the younger, Earl of Londonderry and William Law.
  • 2. 1720-1728. Contracts and accounts of the Bahamas Islands Company.
  • 3. 1724-1727. Accounts of the Irish estates (Ballinakill and Raggettstown, Ireland).
  • 4. 1728-1729. Letters to Lord Londonderry in the Leeward Islands, received after his death.
  • 5. 1717-1723. Letters to Lord Londonderry from his father Thomas Pitt the elder.
  • 6. 1720-1728. Schedule of Lord Stanhope's papers and writings in J Cornthwaite's custody.
  • 7. 1728. Various documents about Lord Londonderry's affairs before leaving for the Leeward Islands as Governor.
  • 8. 1720-1729. Letters to Lord Londonerry from debtors and creditors, including John Law, William Law, George Pitt, James Rossi, Paul Malide and Colonel Archer.
  • 9. 1720-1734. Various documents, including a packet of letters from Colonel Burgess about the death of John Law in Venice, 1729.

  • 11. 1718-1728. Indentures relating to Redbrook Furnace (ironworks in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire), sale of estate by Arthur St Leger to Lord Londonderry, demise of Devon estate (Holsworthy, Milton Damerel etc) and a farm in Yorkshire by Lord Londonderry to his lawyers.
  • 12. 1723. Legal documents about the sale of Lord Gage's estates in Gloucestershire to Lord Londonderry.
  • 13. 1716-1728. Legal documents about Lord Londonderry's various estates.
  • 14. 1716-1727. Indentures relating to Redbrook Furnace and Eythorp rents.
  • 15. 1720-1723. Indentures relating to Redbrook Furnace between Gage and Londonderry.
  • 16. 1721, 24 January. Indenture, release from Earl of Yarmouth, payment of £2,284 12s 5d by Lord Londonderry.
