Table of analysis of land and soil types. 2.5 inches to 1,000 chains of 74 feet each. Compass indicator. Signed by Alexander Bryce, Maj CRE North Britain. Edinburgh, 15 August 1806. Originally bound in Royal Engineers' Return for 1806 (Book 243 formerly in the Secretary of State's library).
