'The Only Roads which can be used by Loaded Vehicles during a Thaw': sketch map of road system in area of northern France bounded by Calais, Boulogne, Abbeville, Arras, Lille and Dunkerque. Key to roads. Printed by First Printing Company, Royal Engineers, General Head Quarters (No 401). Coloured, pencilled additions. Endorsed: 'N. January'. Appendix 'N' to war diary of Quartermaster General's Branch, January 1915 (which is in WO 95/27 part 1).
