Legend: + HENRICVS : REX : - - - - - - - - - Lombardic N; double saltire stops. Coin face: five-pointed star (dexter) on side of crown, but rubbed too smooth to see if there is a trefoil on sinister side; crown, hair and neck of tunic all fairly visible; no bevel on die, although hardened coin face may give impression of bevel. Shaft: square in section where spike joins shaft, chamfered slightly to create octagonal, passing to round section below coin face; very slight chamfering, as on E 29/1/138; tip of spike slightly curved; more pointed than blunt. Crown stamped on shank. Height of shaft 93 mm. Height of spike 58.5 mm. Diameter. of coin face (no bevel) 21 mm.
