Description

1 item (originally accompanying a letter from Major T Fosters, Commanding Royal Engineer, to the Inspector General of Fortifications, 17 February 1846) extracted from WO 44/562. Lancashire. 'Plan of part of the Fleetwood, Preston and West Riding Junction Railway showing proposed branch to the Fulwood Barrack': map showing the line running northward from Preston. Scale: 6 inches to 1 mile. Compass indicators. The sheet also bears an enlarged map of part of Preston, showing the course of the railway line through the town.
