Upper Canada (now Ontario): Kingston. 14 sheets of maps, plans, elevations and sections of a proposed new arsenal: (1-2) Maps of the environs of Point Frederick and Point Henry, showing the proposed arsenal site and parts of the Cataraqui River and the shore of Lake Ontario; (3) site map; (4) the guard house and porter's lodge; (5-7, 10) storehouses and sheds; (8) offices, workshops and a laboratory; (9) a powder magazine; (11) workmens' cottages; (12) a house for clerks; (13) a storekeeper's house; (14) the wharf. Reference table item (3); Reference note to item (1), by Major Bonnycastle. Scale: (1-2) 1 inch to 400 feet [1:4,800]; (3) 1 inch to 100 feet [1:1,200]; (4, 6-7, 9-10, 14 [elevations and sections]) 1 inch to 10 feet [1:120]; (5, 8, 11-13, 14 [plan]) 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240].
