4 items extracted from WO 44/197. Drawings of Ordnance buildings in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia (both now in Canada), extracted from Lieutenant Colonel Arnold's letter of 17 April 1824. (1) (1) 'Plan, Elevation & Section of a Barrack proposed to be erected at Fredericton New Brunswick'. Scale: 1 inch to 7 feet [1:84]. Copied by J G Toler. (2) (2) 'Plan, Section & Elevation of a Hospital proposed to be erected at Fredericton, New Brunswick'. Scale: 1 inch to 10 feet [1:120]. Copied by H Pooley, Lieutenant, Royal Engineers. (3) 'Proposed to be erected at Windsor, Nova Scotia': plan section and elevation of accommodation for two officers and fifty men. Scale: 1 inch to 10 feet [1:120]. Copied by J G Toler. (4) 'A Building proposed to be erected at Windsor, Nova Scotia'. Shows guard room, solitary cells. Scale: 1 inch to 7 feet [1:84]. Copied by H Pooley, Lieutenant, Royal Engineers. Each sheet signed by J R Arnold, Lieutenant Colonel, Commanding Royal Engineer, 17 April 1824. Dimensions of sheets: (1) 26 cm x 81 cm; (2) 27 cm x 41 cm; (3) 26 cm x 40 cm; (4) 26 cm x 41 cm.
