2 items (enclosures in Major Ord's report of 15 June 1844) extracted from WO 44/195: drawings of Ordnance premises at Weedon Bec, Northamptonshire. (1) 'Plan of the Ordnance Premises at Weedon shewing... the Site of the proposed New Butt for Ball Practice'. Scale: 1 inch to 200 feet. Compass indicator. [Drawn] by John Sloane, Clerk of Works. (2) 'Weedon Barracks. Plans & Sections of Ball Practise Butt, shewing the site of old &... the proposed site of the New Butt'. Scale: plans 1 inch to 10 feet [1:120]; sections 1 inch to 10 feet [1:120] and 1 inch to 35 feet [1:420]. Both sheets signed by W B Ord, Major, Commanding Royal Engineer, 15 June 1844. Dimensions of sheets: (1) 43 cm x 55 cm; (2) 68 cm x 75 cm.
