4 items (enclosures in letter of 11 April 1850 from the Commanding Royal Engineer Malta) extracted from WO 44/522. Malta: Senglea. (1) 'Plan and Elevation of the New Entrance proposed to be constructed by the Civil Gov t. through the Lines of Sanglea'. Scale: 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240]. (Sgnd) W Lamb Arrowsmith, Superintendent of Government Works, 28 December 1849. (2) 'Plan and Section of Buejba Sallyport, on the West Side of Isola. Malta'. Scale: 1 inch to 10 feet [1:120]. Drawn by Charles A Broke, Captain, Royal Engineers, 14 March 1850. (3) 'Plan and Section of the Sallyport, and Drawbridge at Isola Point. Malta'. Scale: 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240]. Compass indicator. Drawn by Broke, 9 April 1850. (4) 'Plan of part of Isola de Senglea shewing the present Sally-port and that proposed to be formed by the Civil Gover t'. Scale: 1 inch to 250 feet [1:3,000].
