Two items (illustrations in report of 15 February 1936 on the defence of the Sennar Dam, on the Blue Nile in the Sudan) extracted from WO 32/4155. Sketch plans illustrating proposed schemes: (1) 'Sennar Dam. Scheme B'; (2) 'Sennar Dam Scheme A'. Scale: 1 cm to 40 metres. Compass indicator. Coloured MS additions show positions of machine guns, daytime and night-time Rifle Section posts; and, additionally on (1), anti-aircraft Lewis guns and ground Lewis guns. Reference table to MS additions. Lettered points are referred to in the report of 15 February 1936; this report is Appendix XXII to 'Report on the Emergency Period in the Sudan consequent on the Italo-Abyssinian War 1935-1936', October 1936.
