Plan of Fort Thornton, Freetown, Sierra Leone, showing the original state of the grounds before enclosure. Inset section through the fall of ground between Government House and the military road. Scale: 1 inch to 50 feet. Submitted to Earl Grey by the Governor, in answer to accusations by the Ordnance Storekeeper of encroachments on Ordnance lands.
