Each sheet is signed by H F MacNamara C[lerk of] W[orks], Royal Engineers' Department, 25 August 1858, and by H J Wulff, Colonel CRE Eastern District, 11 October 1858. (1) 'Great Yarmouth Plan of the North Battery'. Scale: 1 inch to 16 feet. Compass indicator. Pencilled additions. (2) 'Sketch shewing Relative position of the North and South Batteries and proposed new site of Town Battery'. Scale: 1 inch to 600 feet. (3) 'Plan of the South Battery'. Scale: 1 inch to 16 feet. Compass indicator. Pencilled additions. (4) 'Sections of the South Battery'. Scale: 1 inch to 8 feet. MS additions dated 12 February 1913. (5) Sections through the North Battery. Scale: 1 inch to 8 feet. Dimensions of sheets: (1) 60.7 cm x 81.8 cm; (2) 57.7 cm x 92 cm; (3-5) each 59.4 cm x 91.2 cm.
