Essex: Purfleet. 'Plan shewing... the ground to be received by the Ordnance, in lieu of that... which is to be given up to M r. Whitebread... with the intended new Road'. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet. Signed by Charles Holloway, Capt RE, Gravesend, 28 July 1796. A note states that the plan was received from the War Office Solicitor on 16 October 1868.
