Kent: Sheerness. (1) Copy of (2), with an overlay apparently showing the layout of the proposed barracks; and pencilled notes including mention of a similar plan by Captain Thomson, June 1821. (2) 'Sketch of part of Sheerness, having reference to the Ground, on which Barracks may be Erected': plan and section. Scale: plan 1 inch to 100 feet; section 1 inch to 20 feet. Compass indicator. Transmitted with Lt General Mann's letter of 2 July 1821 to Mr Crew [Secretary to the Board of Ordnance]. Both sheets are endorsed: 'In 12930/21'.
