Three sheets of drawings of proposed installations for the Rock Perch, on the River Mersey, near Liverpool, Lancashire (now in Merseyside). (1) Plan of the lighthouse, showing it in relation to the proposed battery. Scale: 1 inch to 10 feet. (2) Plan and section of the lighthouse and a 15-gun battery with its field of fire. Scale: plan 1 inch to about 90 feet; section 1 inch to about 45 feet. (3) Plan and sections of 15-gun battery. Scale: plan 1 inch to 30 feet; sections 1 inch to 15 feet.All signed by J S Kitson, Capt RE, to accompany his letter of 17 June 1825 to General.Mann. Dimensions of sheets: (1) 26.4 cm x 41 cm; (2) 41.4 cm x 52 cm; (3) 85 cm x 57 cm.
