Cape of Good Hope (now in South Africa). '... Plan for the Blockhouse at Algoa Bay': upper and lower floor plans; and section. Scale: 1 inch to 4 feet. A note signed by G Bridges, Capt RE, states that the plan was approved by Major General Dundas and the work was odered to be executed under the direction of [H] Elphinstone, Lt RE. Endorsed: 'The plan was brought home by Bridges in 1801'.
