Lancashire: Liverpool (now in Merseyside). 'Sketch shewing the mode of constructing the Sea Wall at the North-Western extremity of the Dock Estate Liverpool so as to suit the Battery proposed to be erected at that Spot'. The sheet contains: (1) elevation of the west front of the battery (scale: 1 inch to 30 feet); (2) outline plan of the proposed docks (scale: 1 inch to about 270); (3) section through the sea wall (scale: 1 inch to 5 feet). Each sheet signed by T Foster, Maj CRE. Originally enclosures to CRE.'s letter of 3 May 1845.
