Channel Islands: Jersey. Two drawings. (1) 'Plan of the greatest part of Mount Orgueil Castle Jersey, 1741'. With sections. Shows a ship under sail in the harbour. Reference table to gates, defensive points. Scale: 1 inch to 20 feet. Fleur-de-lys compass indicator. Copy of a plan originally drawn by J H Bastide. (2) 'Plan of the Greatest Part of Mount Orgueil Castle Jersey. 1741 J H Bastide': apparently the original foul plan from which (1) was copied. The ship is depicted in crude outline. With sections. Reference table to gates, defensive points. Scale: 1 inch to 20 feet. Fleur-de-lys compass indicator. Pencilled grid to facilitate scaling and copying. Some lettering also in pencil.
