Papers relating to the proposed Cavalier Tower on Berkshire Hill, St Vincent. (1) Plan of Berkshire Hill, showing the citadel and proposed Cavalier Tower. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet. (2, 3) Estimate of the cost of erecting a Cavalier Tower for three 18-pounders to defend the principal entrance at Berkshire Hill. (4) Plan D. Section through the tower. Scale: 1 inch to 4 feet. (5) Plan E. Elevation towards the fort. Scale: 1 inch to 4 feet. (6) Plan B. Section through Berkshire Hill. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet. (7) Plan C. Plan of the tower. Scale: 1 inch to 4 feet. All signed by Charles Shipley, Major Gen, 22 January 1812. Dimensions of sheets: (1) 63.5 cm x 78.7 cm; (4) 40.6 cm x 54.6 cm; (5) 38.6 cm x 57.4; (6) 25 cm x 69 cm; (7) 45.2 cm x 56 cm.
