Four sheets of drawings of fortifications in the Bahamas. (1) Plan A: plan of Fort Charlotte, with the Government land and buildings adjoining. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet. Reference table. Compass indicator. (2) Outline map showing the situations of all the fortifications and Government lands and buildings in the Bahamas. Scale: 1 inch to 660 feet. Reference table. Compass indicator. (3) Plan B: plan of part of the town of Nassau, showing the Government lands and buildings. Scale: 1 inch to about 100 feet. Reference table. Compass indicator. (4) Plan C: plan of Fort Fincastle and Fort Montague. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet. Compass indicator. Each sheet is signed by T Foster, Lt CRE, 4 July 1831, to illustrate his despatch of that date to Sir Alexander Bryce. (3) bears pencil annotations by N P Wullf, Major, Corps of Royal Engineers, 9 June 1850. Dimensions of sheets: (1) 62.5 cm x 83.8 cm; (2) 56 cm x 122 cm; (3) 56 cm x 65.3 cm; (4) 44.5 cm x 56 cm.
