Hampshire: Hilsea. 'Plan of Lands &c at Hilsea: purchased by the Hon ble Board of Ordnance' (endorsement): map of area between Portsmouth harbour and Langstone harbour, showing lands acquired under Acts of Parliament 8 Anne c 21 (sic); 31 Geo II c 39; and 54 Geo III c 43; landowners' names. Plots are numbered, but there is no key. Scale: 1 inch to 100 yards. Compass indicator. Drawn to accompany Major Hassard's letter of 14 January 1815 to Lt Gen Mann. Copied by T Beer, 2nd class RMSD, February 1815. Annotated in 1848 and 1860 with information about Acts of parliament and decrees affecting the ownership of the land.
