Plan of Stirling Castle (now in Central Region, Scotland). Also shows adjacent lands, field boundaries. Reference table to fields, stating acreage and whether arable or bog/pasture; key to buildings. The scale bar is calibrated as 2.5 inches to 1,100 chains of 74 feet; the correct scale is clearly much larger than this: Maps and Plans in the Public Record Office: I. British Isles, c.1410-1860, entry 4093, suggests 1 inch to 4 chains. Compass star. Bears Board of Ordnance stamp.
