Three versions of a map showing Falmouth harbour, Carrick Road, Penryn, Truro and neighbouring towns and villages, Cornwall. (1) Unfinished and damaged. (2) A French map, possibly the original on which (1) and (3) were based. French map. Scale: 2 inches to 'One mille'. Compass rose. (3) Similar to (1): undamaged. Each is endorsed: 'Sir M. Beckman' and bears the Board of Ordnance stamp. Dimensions of sheets: (1) 67.3 cm x 52 cm; (2) 51.8 cm x 74.2 cm; (3) 57 cm x 48.3 cm.
