Kent: 'A Geometrical Plan & Western Elevation of His Majesty's Dock-Yard and Garrison at Sheerness, with the Ordnance Wharfe &c.'. Separate reference tables to plan and elevation identify buildings and defences. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet. Compass indicator. Decorative border contains the title, dedication and reference tables; and nine small pictures of ships at various stages of repair (one at Port Mahon). Surveyed and drawn by Thomas Milton. Ships drawn by I Cleveley. Engraved by P C Canot. Dedicated to the Hon Lewis Monson Watson, Knight of the Shire for the County of Kent, and Auditor of the Imprest. Published according to Act of Parliament, 14 April 1755. Inscribed: 'This Plan was, with others, handed over to Chief Draughtsman by W.O. Solicitor in June 1868.'
