Seven sheets of maps and reports relative to lands to be purchased for the defences of Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire. (1) Report by Captains Charles Hubert Heriott and T Walker on lands to be purchased at Pater Church Point: acreage, land use, comparison of statute and customary measures. Identifies points lettered on (2). (2) 'Survey of the Lands propos'd to be purchased for His Majesty's Service at Pater-Church-Point in the County of Pembroke for Fortifying the Interior part of Milford Haven according to Colo l Skinner's Design by Capt s Harriot & Walker Engineers July 31 st 1759'. Title on a scroll held from above by human figures, one winged, the other helmeted. MS, coloured. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet. Compass indicator. Dimensions: 56 cm x 71 cm. (3) Report by Heriott and Walker on lands to be purchased at West Lanyon Point: acreage, land use, comparison of statute and customary measures. Identifies points lettered on (4). (4) 'Survey of the Lands proposed to be purchased for His Majesty's Service at West Lanyon-Point in the County of Pembroke for Fortifying the Interior part of Milford Haven according to Colo l Skinner's Design by Capt s Harriot & Walker Engineers July 31 st 1759'. Title in oval decorated cartouche. MS, coloured. With reference table. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet. Field names and acreage added in pencil. (5) Copy of (4). (6) Copy of (1) and (3) on a single sheet. (7) Copy of (2).
