Shows streets, buildings, gardens, city gates (named) and ruined city wall, fields, open spaces, waterway, wells etc. Inset view of the [Eleanor] Cross and notes on the history of Coventry. Key to boundaries of wards and parishes. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. Compass rose. Title, scale and dedication in rococo cartouches. Decorative border. Dedicated to the Mayor, Recorder, Aldermen and Common Council of Coventry. Engraved by Thomas Jefferys, Geographer to the Prince of Wales, St Martin's Lane, Charing Cross, London, and published by him according to Act of Parliament, 29 March 1750.
