Three sheets of drawings of proposed works on the hill south of the harbour at South Shields, county Durham. (1) Plan, with reference table. Scale: 1 inch to 50 feet. Compass indicator. In lower right corner: 'B:6. F:25'. (2) Duplicate of (1). (3) Sections. Each sheet annotated: 'Elias Durnford, Engineer in Ordinary, Oct 1782'. Board of Ordnance stamps. Dimensions of sheets: (1) and (2) 31.8 cm x 48.3 cm; (3) 75.2 cm x 53.1 cm.
