Morocco: 'Sketch Plan of Tangier'. Key to principal buildings (numbered). With reference table. Scale: 1 inch to 440 feet. Compass indicator. Based on rough triangulation with a three-inch theodolite from a base 1,405.21 feet in length, measured once with steel tape; detail sketched with pocket sextant, prismatic compass and Abney's level. Signed by C Delmé-Radcliffe, Capt Connaught Rangers, Tangier, May 1895.
